There are various types of rafting available in the Samoens area. All follow the same principals. .i.e travelling at speed down a river and getting wet. Howver there are varying degrees of speed and wetness.
Rafting. This consists of a large rubber dinghy in which you and up to 8 others travel down the river.
Cano-Raft. The inflatable canoe is used by two people, allowing a completely different method of discovering rivers.
Hairboat. - is between a kayak and a cano-raft, the Hairboat is a one-man inflatable craft.
Swimming in the Rapids - Navigate the river, equipped with a float, flippers and reinforced wet suit.
Canyoning - This involves anything from an aquatic outing to the most daring options, including jumps, watershoots and rope descents. |
