Situated in the charming 17th century alpine ski resort of Samoens less than an hour from Geneva, the privately owned chalet of Les Terrasses is now available for rent. Refurbished in 2004, the largely new interior upstairs accommodates 8-10 people in four bedrooms each with fully tiled en-suite or bathroom. There is a modern stainless steel kitchen and dining area, and a large living room with log fire. |

Refurbished in 2005 the ground floor is a separate appartment accommodating
4 people in 2 bedrooms, with a shower room, a modern stainless steel kitchen, dining and living area.
The chalet and appartment are available to rent separatly, or for larger groups there is an internal staircase that can be opened to allow the chalet to be rented as a single residence.
The chalet benefits from being in a quiet location surrounded by open fields and there is ample parking space outside

Les Terrasses is two hundred yards from the edge of town, with the nearest restaurants and bars just a three minute stumble away. The Grand Massif Express is 300 yards or four minutes level walk from the chalet (even in ski boots!). Opened in Christmas 2003, this eight man 'gondola' can transport you to 1600 metres in just eight minutes from where you can either ski down to Samoens 1100 or carry on up on the chair lifts to Morillon, Les Carroz or Flaine. |
